How it works

It all starts with a single step..

1. Defining the challenge.

Before we start looking for answers or giving advice, we know the first part of our job is to know where we are. We always begin by getting to know the needs and objectives of our clients and developing a real understanding of their core business. Our academic and professional backgrounds also give us the means to look at the specific situation within a wider, theoretical context.

2. Developing a solution.

We like to look at this work as design. Design because its purpose is to solve a real need that is identified through analysis. We have a particular kind of design process that we use when working with clients. It’s not a linear process. Instead, it’s circular, dynamic and intense. We believe that this is the best way to come up with new solutions to old and new problems. We base the process on cross-disciplinary teamwork and we work closely with our clients to identify who to involve in the process and how.

3. Making it stick.

It is our purpose to secure continuous evolution and positive change when our work is done. For this to happen, there must be a plan for further implementation and improvement.

A challenging part of every project is making sure that what is learned sticks. When evaluating any work done, we don’t focus only on results, but also on what has been learned along the way and how everyone involved can incorporate it into their work.

It is often difficult to maintain the momentum during a long project. It can be difficult to capture and implement the new experiences and insight from the process when faced with another busy day at work. This is where 370-degrees make an extra effort.
